Frame cramps are ideal in building work to tie timber frames to external concrete or even steelwork and masonry.

Wall ties are a set of stainless steel brackets and nails that are installed to secure the external brick or block cladding to the timber frame. Wall ties (also known as remedial wall ties) are used to secure masonry to hold concrete foundation wall forms in place until the concrete sets.
